Did anyone here watch them? I missed them this year, and I would really want to know what happened. I know that Evgeni Plushenko withdrawed from the competition. What else happened? How was the female section?
Thanx in advance,
Sonia

WOW!!!!!! He's amazing. I think I saw him at the Goodwill Games in 2000 here in Brisbane. There was some top skating that night with the men's and pairs finals.

Been following skating since the 80's as I did figure skating myself as a teenager. Got to see Torvill & Dean live too - they were incredible.

Does anyone remember Scotty Hamilton?? Now he was an energetic package! Loved the backflip!

Yes a little. He's not often come to Russian in these days actually. I also have meet once with Andrey Kirilenko a NBA player and I know a lot of players from our national soccer team (shame on me), but anyway the person who I've most proud to met with is, of course, Brian :) I've talked to him for about a couple of mins when he was in Moscow.

I love Evgeni!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My neighbor calls him wispy hair! Of all things! Anyway I was so sad when he withdrew! Iwish that I could see him skate more. I love figure skating I have always watched since I was little and I have always liked Russian men. Hah. Anyone remember Ilya Kulik?? I LOve him! He's so cool! Anyway glad to know someone out there watches it beside me!

Hehe I like Macedonians better than Russians... But they don't have many skaters I guess.
