I know all about Frank Miller's Adult Dark Comic "Sin City, and have been following the hype all this year over the making of the all star film, which premeired this week.

The trailers look great, and it's got a great cast and was directed by Robert Rodriguez who did "Desperado" and "Once Upon A Time In Mexico"

Quentin Tarantino & Miller codirected. Has anybody seen it? Is it any good?

Here's a review from Newsday.

This might be the first time Robert Rodriguez directs a good film. Although he's actually co-directing with Frank Miller, who I believe is the one who for the most part deserves all the praise for coming up with the whole concept of the movie.

Btw, doesn't Jessica Alba look so smoking HOT on those clips?!!

I am from Maryland, USA! Wish I lived in NY or L.A. though.

I read in several interviews with Rodriguez that he quit the Directors Guild because they won't allow a film in the USA to be credited with a
Co-Director, that's how much he is thrilled to have Miller co-Direct and receive credit for it.

As for my bootylicious Jessica Alba (I am a hetero. female so don't get the wrong idea) but that mama's been hot since "Dark Angel" when she kicked some serious "transgenic" ass, with her martial arts meets leather...Yeh ha! That was a great show! Shame it got cancelled.

Since you (and I) are fans of Miss Bootycicious Alba..this summer she will be in the thriller..."Deep Blue" with Paul Walker, kind of a remake of "The Deep".

Lots of cool promo pictures the last few months in movie mags of Jessie in a bikini underwater!!!

Hey your remark...think she could have turned Freddie straight?

I think she's so HOT I want to be as HOT and look as HOT as her, so I can be bootylicious too!! and kick butt!! hea yah!

Oh God, I was even considering going to see 'Honey' even though the movie seems like a complete piece of crap made to bring more bling bling to those who want to squeeze every single penny by exploiting the popularity of hip-hop culture.

Yet, taking a glance at Jessica Alba's bootylicious body for 90 minutes is worth the 9 bucks.

you guys do know this is based on a comic, and its very kill bill like, it is a collection of stories (3 to be exact) from 3 graphic novels (the hard goodbye {or something like that}, that yellow bastard, and another one) the main storyline tells the story of marv's (rourke) quest for revenge after
a woman (goldie/wendy: jaime pressly i think) he hardly knew is murdered (Spoiler: elijah wood is a bad guy which is wicked), that yellow bastard is the the story of hartigan (willis) an aging cop bent on protecting a stripper (alba) while running from TYB (nick stahl WICKED!!!), and the other one (cant remember) is the story of a photographer, Dwight (Clive Owen) who kills a hero cop. I've read the hard goodbye and might i say its not a tale for the faint of heart. Although the creator , Frank Miller, did do a slightly cleaner interracial love story sin city style in a later mini-series.

Yes..I know all about Miller's Dark Horse Graphic Novels. I'm a fan of his and other writers for Dark Horse, especially James O'Barr who did "The Crow". But I have not seen the film which premieres today nationwide.
