I became a huge fan of Queen 5 years ago when i watched the wembley 86 concert in tv and from that day i bought every album of them and i think i listen every song of them(rares,demos)..There are so much hits that well-known like Bohemian R. TSMG, WWRY,WATC etc..My friends all bored Queen songs because of me!!.i listen them everyday..but one thing i realize that none of them didnt bored from You Dont Fool Me..
All of them listens different style of music like RnB,pop,hip-hop but all like You Don't Fool Me and they tell me everytime that YDFM is the most listenable and one of the best songs of Queen ..

What do you think?Which song you think that the most listenable?
by the way is YDFM on the setlist?

I think YDFM is a great song. It is quite listenable but i wouldn't say the most listenable. Here's a few which i think are very listenable:
-Las Palabras de amor
-let me live
-spread your wings
-Good Old-fashioned L.B.
-Nervermore
-March of the B.Q.
-Play the game
As i said these are just a few

Of course these are listenable as well but these songs is too Queen..we are queen fan and generally we like most songs of them so they look like listenable for us but for someone who listens different style its different they can get bored from such amazing songs like MOTBQ,spread your wings also TSMGO and I want it all...I think YDFM sounds a little more pop and has a great melody that takes you away....NA NANANANA!!!!

Who wrote its lyrics??and music???

I'm not sure if You Don't Fool Me is one of their best songs (the guitar solo is amazing, though!) but I agree that it is more listenable than others. It's so catchy and it's got a great beat. I think a lot of us fans overlook it, but I can definitely see it being an accessible song to newer fans.

A fantastic song with a catchy NA NA NA NA NA section that you just can't get out of your head and a fantastic solo from brian one of their best in my opinion.

i agree, YDFM is a solid song, not their best by any means. the guitar solo really makes that song work and roger's drums are solid. i think 'made in heaven' as a whole is underated. a very consistent album.

It sounds listenable to me (as well as other tracks actually) and the guitar solo is one of the best ever played by Brian, IMO.

All songs from GH1&2 are listenable for non-Queen fans I think.

"You Don't Fool Me" is pretty high up on my list.

Really really don't like it. Too repetitive.

It always sounded like a reworked track from Mr Bad Guy to me....

But it does have an awesome solo, and is very listenable, just not my favourite Queen track.

I like the track, but I also think that it has Brian's best guitar solo ever. Absolutley amazing.

YDFM is one of my favourites from MIH. Very underrated song. My friends who aren't Queen fans just love it. And Brian's solo... Amazing!

Yes, I also wonder how people who don't listen Queen like that song and why is it like that?
Don't know how to explain that phenomen.I also have one example of that situation.

Since I heard this Queen song for the first time, it immediately reminded me of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Just compare the opening guitar riff of “You don’t fool me” with “Thriller’s” bass line. They are very closely related.
When I read that the Queen song actually dates back from the early 80’s, this would only confirm that Queen may have been inspired by Michael Jackson’s song. Anyone any thoughts about this?

i doubt it. I mean now you mention it, I notice the similarity, but im sure neither party thought about it.

if you want similarity...listen to "crazy nights" by KISS,then "i believe in a thing called love" by the darkness, those are so damned similar...wouldnt surprise me if the darkness ripped them off
