Please forgive me for being thick and ignorant, but does a lossless FLAC version dramatically improve upon the original 90mb version in terms of quality? I don't really understand what lossless FLAC really means and am reluctant to download such a monster file if the difference is marginal. I personally think that MP3 type tracks are perfectly listenable too (if that's a valid phrase). Thanks everybody.

Hi. If I remember correctly this is from someone's Hi-MD recording in wav format. Good stuff! Just curious of something as I'm interested in getting a Hi-MD sometime over the next few months... Did you record this in stereo mode or mono mode? In other words, does a mono mode exist for extended recording time in PCM format? 90 minutes is really lacking for good concert recording times, eh?!
