Hi guys, i'm not so sure if this is the right place for this topic... but since it's a Queen song request, who knows.. :-)
I don't know if you guys know it, but Green Day is playing WATC as the encore on their "American Idiot Tour"... and i wanted to know if anybody have listened to it already... does anybody know if its any good?.. does anybody have it on mp3?..
I'm not a green day fan, but reviews say that it's a very good version...

Then, could you reput it here or send me an e-mail ? It's in my profile. I'd love to hear that ! Unless it is punk...

Dan.

Or upload it at www.rapidshare.de , so all of us can download it. By the way, I don't think it was posted here before.

Thanks,

I think it's an excellent version - Green Day are as good a band around at the moment - watched them in Manchester a few months back and they kicked serious amounts of arse

Well...I'd like to e-mail you for it, but I can't see your e-mail address. Still, you can see mine :P Could send it to me if you want because it must be something !

I agree that Green Day is a great band. They are for the 90's and the 2000's what The Clash and the Sex Pistols were for the 70's and they seem to be getting better all the time.

A really good recording ! Thank you for it ! And I'm really happy it wasn't "punked" !

I wonder if for the upcoming tribute album, since Sum 41 plays "Killer Queen", if Green Day will be performing that one.

Yes the band is getting better with time. And I find their version pretty faithful to the original.

Hmm..interesting. I love Green Day, but the slow bits sound way outta tune. The chorus sounds cool, though.
I'll give 'em props for throwing in an AAAAOOOOOO at the end.

It takes a brave band to try to cover Queen...
Hats off to Green Day! IMHO Not sure about the vocals, but the guitar work sounds really good. Thanks for sharing!
