Just found Brian's song "My boy" on my harddisk and gave it a listen... don't you think that the very first notes of that particular song are pretty close to the notes Brian plays before they start Save Me at Milton Keynes? Just wondering

It's entirely possibly that "My Boy" was a song that Brian had been working on some years ago - maybe it was even planned for the Hot Space album but rejected at demo stage.

John Stuart - any ideas?

I read somewhere - maybe from John? - that the song was intended to be on Hot Space, but I think the demo of the song that's out there was recorded in 1980.

So it is possible, right? I thought it was part of the furia soundtrack ... how wrong can you be?

I've thought that since I first heard On Fire! The beginning sounds so similar.

Yes, it is the same intro... Here's a link to a file I just made. It starts with "My boy" and crosses over to the "Save me"-intro... for those of you who don't believe it.

edit: watch out... it's pretty loud!
