When hyde park tickets were released i expected them to sell out in a couple of days. Remember the crashed webpages for the presale and wembley? The Gold arena tickets did infact sell out as many of friends of mine settled for general admission on the day of general sale but now it appears that they are available. Whats up with that?

Well, it could be that in start number of total tickets was X. Now, after some time, they decided to increase number of tickets to Y (where Y>X). Following raise of tickets in total, there would be also raise in number of GC tickets too (making them available again). I do remember that GC was gone and not available from TickerMaster after few days of general sale (but now it seems to be back - just did a test).

Judging by the whole shambles of ticket sales in general this sounds typical!!

There was a advertisement in the Sunday Mirror (UK newspaper)last Sunday promoting this gig. First one I've seen in its full glory.

They've also changed their Portuguese & Dutch gigs to indoor arenas apparently. There's a message there somewhere. No demand for outdoor shows? Also read somewhere that the Dutch gig clashed with a cultural festival so they switched to indoor to avoid playing to a half empty stadium!

Having trouble selling outdoor shows...eh?

We all of us deeply apologise for this god forsaken shit heap of a building...but we will make it rock.

Oops I f***** up on the Portuguese gig. That one hasn't been changed yet but is not selling too well! Been away from the Queen Tour board for a while!

Don't want to start any unfounded rumours!! lol

WE will see about that, won't we?

Cologne is going to be sold out... but as far as I understood, even Vienna wasn't sold out!

Did the same for the Wembly Pavilion tickets. I only got row C after buying them when the Fan Club members were allowed.

k01olnug: Thank you for this bit of information.

When I originally ordered tickets for this gig, I was extremely disapointed that I could not purchase "Golden Circle" tickets.

After reading this thread, I immediately telephoned Ticketmaster customer services and asked if I could upgrade.

The short answer was - no.

The longer answer was - I could cancel my old booking and have the ticket price refunded - on the condition that I bought replacement tickets in the more expensive area! (Don't ask me why - just some sort of "machine protocol").

So I now have "Golden Circle" tickets instead of general standing tickets because - I read Queenzone!

A good result all around then!!!

PS: I bet in a few years time that stories like this will be viewed as urban legends!

That - and a few beers before and after the show! (And if we are REALLY lucky, a few during also ;-)
