Does anybody know why none of the music books released by queen has the piano arrangments that we actually hear on the records?

If you read the "Bohemian Rhapsody" sheet music you can´t play the way Freddie did....why?

Because they figure you want to play the piece on the piano and hear it like the whole song, with the melody and everything.

However, what you say is not true - there have been books with the real piano parts. The "Off the Record" series contains a full score for each song in the books. Exact transcriptions of piano, guitar, vocals, everything. They are excellent books. Unfortunately, they are out of print. But you can easily find them new or used on eBay. These "Off the Record" books exist:

Queen: Off the Record
Greatest Hits: Off the Record
Greatest Hits II: Off the Record
Classic Queen: Off the Record
Innuendo: Off the Record

I suggest tracking them down on eBay if you can. You will not be dissapointed.

If you go to www.freepianosheets.com there is a whole lot of queen sheet music as well as other great bands and songs like Imagine, Muse, Beatles (Let It Be), I especially like the version of Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm pretty sure it's exactly how it's on the record.

Hope this helps

You can download alot of different versions of Queen songs on something called Lime Wire. Its a file sharing program. Search it on Yahoo/Google and download it :D

I have one version of Bohemian Rhapsody, but its not played like Freddie played it either :D But I sorta just messed around with it and I can now play like he does, with crossing over.

the cover looks like the "classic queen" cd cover...neone ever seen this before?

Hmmm no no, click on the links to the right of that Sibelious bit, those are TIF (pictures) stored in ZIP or RAR files (can't quite remember). I'm pretty sure that Sibelious is a program to let you play the piano song in MIDI. There are definitely zip or rar files with the sheet music as picture files.

Sorry bout late reply, had lots of assignments due.
