I just listened to and watched Brian's performance on the DVD Ian Hunter And The Rant Band - Just Another Night: Live At The Astoria, London
Studio: Snapper Music
Due for release on 25/04/2005
Brian plays on track 21. All The Way From Memphis

Geez, Louise, Brian steals the show!!!!...I mean he tears the roof off the house! Amazing. He's on fire!!!! and he looks like he's having an absolute blast, just a great time rocking out on this boogie woogie rocker with Joe Elliott, Ian Hunter, and the Rant band!!

Anybody watch this yet? Brian ROCKS & RULES!!!!

I very rarely venture onto Brian's site, or any other Queen site to be honest.

Really. You'd love Brian's site. yeah he rants alot when he feels angry about stuff, but hey we do at QZ too. But he posts SUPER cool stuff and info on his website!

Where's the link? I've searched and seemingly have not found it, otherwise this post would be a bit pointless, wouldn't it?
;)

I got this dvd on Thursday and it is excellent - not just the bit with Brian on but the whole dvd - it is a great gig recorded at a packed Astoria last year.

I'd already planned to go to the gig but a few days before at the Ian Hunter gig in Leeds, I heard that Brian might be making an appearance which added to the event - I ended up a bit closer to the front than I would normally have done for the encores.

Joe Elliot is on the dvd too .... but Joe Elliot seems to be at every Ian Hunter gig I go to !!

PS : not seen it yet but I've been told there is a little bit in the 'extras' on the dvd recorded during the soundcheck that includes Brian.

After the Queen & Paul Rodgers UK tour finishes, Ian Hunter is touring the UK and I'd recommend him to anyone who likes good rock music.

I agree. Ian & The entire rant band are fantastic, plus I love that kind of boogie, woogie, honky tonk style of music...which Ian and his band do Very well! Really enjoyable. I would like to see him in concert too.
