This is from and with thanks to Sergey's website.

Freddie reading the weather! on the radio with DJ Kenny Everett. So cute!!!! Sounds like Freddie is having quite a bit of fun, ad libbing and reading his cue cards information in which he can't read kenny's hyrogliphic handwriting!!!!

Freddie reads the weather news

Sergey says "I've found in my file archive an old Kenny Everett interview with Freddie (shortly after ADATR release). During this interview Freddie read the weather news, I found it quite funny, so here it is"

"Kenny: And now here’s Freddie with the weather!

Freddie: Oh God! He’s just put it in my lap, I can’t believe it! Weather for the Capitol area: it’s dry with long sunny periods, clean spells this evening, cold…

Kenny: CLEAR spells.

Freddie: Oh, [laughs] It’s you’re writing! Clear spells – yes that’s right. Clear spells this evening, cold high feel four centigrade…

Kenny: Oh forget it!

Freddie: Winds light, force two or three… well this is the way you’ve written it. It’s in code, my god! [laughs] Two or three mostly west to northwest, becoming south to south west later. [more laughs in studio].

Kenny: Are you done?

Freddie: I’m sure everybody got that.

Kenny: Yeah, I’m sure…

Freddie: That does it, you wait ‘till you come to the studio next time!"

Kenny: Get your calculators out and work out the weather."

Sergey!!!!

I just sent you an email...check your email...
Do you have the video for Freddie reading the weather on your website? I only saw the written transcript. Can you upload it in windows media version 6 but not to my email..my computer won't upload it into my email.

If you have the video, can you upload it onto this topic I just created on Queenzone. Thanks a bunch!

My computer won't let me listen to Rapidshare.

Most regular MP3's are ok..the one on the Topic with Queen being inducted into the USA Rock & Roll Hall of Fame works fine. I've listened to it 3 times today.

Also, the video on Brian's website of him playing on Ian Hunter's DVD works fine too. I wathced that several times today. I don't understand alot of computer stuff. I just know what works and what doens't.

Who said there was a video of this?

This was an appearance by Fred on Kenny Everett's RADIO show, a broadcast medium usually not strongly associated with video.

There is no video. I emailed Sergey 4/18/2005, here is his answer to me.

"Hello Arlene,
Freddie was reading it during radio programme in the middle of 70s, so there's
no video. I don't know if audio recording exists, maybe someone's taped it and
would upload it on QueenZone.
Cheers,
Sergey"

Yes, as I wrote there's no video of this programme. It was broadcasted on Capital Radio on November 1976, Freddie reviewed ADATR songs too. Pretty interesting.
