Hmm I am suspecting that I discover a new dilema and Mystery! ! ! let search more information in the web. but in the Brian May official Web site he didnt mention nothing about the Intro with an Eminem song Loose Yourself...

It has to have a special meaning to Brian and Roger to put this song in the begginning of the concert, Probably they feel indentify with this song or the Eminem Movie

They may like Eminem...also don't forget both Roger & Brian are very open to all kinds of NEW artists...like Foo Fighters and such.

Also Bri & Rog have kids in their teens and 20's who probably like and listen to Eminem and new younger artists and that helps influence Roger's & Brian's music tastes.

One last note...GREAT way for Brian, Roger, Queen to appeal to, create, and reach a NEW generation of young fans who like Eminem...so Eminem fans will think Queen is cool.

Roger listens to Eminem really often as I read.

Brian was invited in Eminem's limo once, to listen to "Puke" because the drumming was based on "We Will Rock You" and the lyrics of that song made Brian laugh. "...You Make Me Fuckin' Sick To My Stomach..." or something like that.

Nobody knows why they love Eminem, but they love him.

I know why Brian loves "Lose Yourself" at least. The lyrics, at the beginning, are among Brian's favorites.

"Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip ?"

He gave them in exemples on his soapbox.

So I understand why he plays that song before the concerts.

Maybe he'd wish Eminem and him (maybe Queen) would play together like Elton John did with "Stan", but that was a live rendition. Not the same thing..."Lose Yourself" by Queen + Eminem...wouldn't be that bad. It will be really bad if they ever decide to go on tour with Eminem...lolll Imagine :

"We Are The Champions You Motherfuckers !/And We'll Keep On Fuckin' Tryin' 'Til The End/Does That Make You Puke ?/We Are The Champions/Slim Shady Is The Champion !/No Time For Killin' My Wife..Oh Shit ! Sorry !/'Cause We Are The Champions/Of The World !!!"

Well...that could be worse...Queen + William Hung On Tour 2006-2007...Lolll

Good lyrics for Roger Taylor, singin' about him and Brian...

"We Were The Champions, My Friend/And I Wish We Could Still Say It Now/We Were The Champions/We Were The Champions/No Time For Winning/We Just Keep On Losing/With Hung !"

Enough of this non-sense.

Keep on rockin' ! Dan.

The Foos aren't new... They've been around for 10 years now. And I hope to NEVER see Eminem and the Foo Fighters in the same sentence again...EVER...PLEASE..:-p

Like Brian said in his Soapbox, the lyrics really fit well for the entire tour. They're just taking the moment and the opportunity and going with it!
