ok, i would like you're help again from anyone that can give it to me. i have to go to ahoy by public transport, and am not sure what to do. basically the best thing you could tell me is which train station in rotterdam is closest to the concert hall. any other information, how to get there from that station for example would be very welcome. maybe you could point me to a website that could tell me a good route. i can read dutch so that's ok, i'm just not very good at speaking it myself. thank you for any replies.

check www.ahoy.nl . You can read there which station is the nearest. You do have to take the metro from the station though.
Or you could check www.ns.nl

Go to the Central Station, then take the metro to Zuidplein (about E2,- I believe) from there on it's about 5- minutes walking.

-------------------------

ENG:
Public transport
The metro stops right in front of Ahoy’ (Zuidplein station). From here it’s just a 5-minute walk. Just follow the signs. You can find mainline and metro timetables at www.9292ov.nl and/or www.ret.rotterdam.nl.
Car/motorcycle
Ahoy’ Rotterdam is easy to reach from the orbital motorway (‘the Ring’) around Rotterdam. The Ahoy’ exit is on the A15 (‘Ring Rotterdam-Zuid).

Car parking
Ahoy’ has ample parking facilities (1,600 spaces/fee: €8.50 per car). There is also a multi-storey car park (Zuidplein) at a 5-minute walk from Ahoy’. Alternatively, you can use the various Park and Ride facilities at, for example, the Slinge and Capelsebrug metro stations. Coach parking fee: €20.

Tip: before you come to Ahoy’, always check out the Events Schedule on this site. If there are several events at Ahoy’ that day, it could well be busy in the vicinity of the exhibition centre. Park and Ride and public transport are then an excellent alternative.
