I remember in the seventies (1977 1978) there was small italian TV stations used to broadcast rock video clips during the breaks. It was a kind of prehistoric MTV. But I saw frequently BoRap, Tie your mother down videos and also Now I'm here live (from Rainbow '74, I suppose). But, I'm sure, sometimes I saw a live version (or maybe they're miming) of Sweet Lady. The same version I saw in the late 70s in a Queen documentary, a kind of video hits with commentary by Roger. (I swear it's true).
Well, when the Greatest Video Hits was released two years ago, I thought that "sweet Lady" video clip was included in. Anybody knows if it was never existed? or am I dreamed?

don't know which show it was, but I know that Queen played it on their Japanese tour in the spring of 1975 and I certainly know that professional footage excists. So it is really possible that you saw Queen playing Sweet Lady in some of that footage. That's the only explanation i can imagine. Or maybe footage from Hyde Park or Earl's Court. Maybe you can imagine which clothes Freddie wore, then it would be easy to reckognise...

Gaspar you are right it does exist, special programme only (???) for the Italian TV. In fact it includes both Sweet Lady (Hyde Park) and some Rainbow stuff, also Roger talking about the tracks between the clips. Nice item, as it is one of the few survived pre-79 TV appearances.

thanks to everyone of you. Now i'm sure I'm not dreamed of that video.(Even I remember a kind of heavy rotation featuring also some "Angel" (the american band) live clips, "Whole lotta love" from "the song remains..." movie).
About the documentary it seemed to me likely rather a kind of British TV production. I remember it ended with Roger who introduce the new video single (in those days): we are the champions. it would be great if someone could be find that documentary.
