09.09.1969 The Sink, Liverpool, UK
Recorded by Geoff Higgins (Ibex roadie) on his Grundig TK14 reel-to-reel machine, later sold in an auction to a private collector, then lent to Queen Production for the purpose of including 'Rain' in the FM Solo Collection box set, then leaked to the bootleg market. This concert was very important because Ibex were joined by Brian May and Roger Taylor for the encore which means it's the very first concert with Freddie, Brian and Roger on one stage. Sadly, the tape ran out after 30 minutes so it misses this encore.

01. I'm So Glad (Skip James) - Cream
02. Communication Breakdown (Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones & John Bonham) - Led Zeppelin
03. Rain (John Lennon & Paul McCartney) - The Beatles
04. We're Going Wrong (Jack Bruce) - Cream
05. Rock Me Baby (Riley. BB. King & Joe Josea) - Truth
06. Stone Free (Jimi Hendrix) - Jimi Hendrix
07. Jailhouse Rock (Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller) - Elvis Presley
08. Crossroads (Cross Road Blues) (Robert Johnson) - Cream
09. Vagabond Outcast (Freddie Bulsara)
10. We're Going Home (I'm Going Home) (Alvin Lee) - Ten Years After

I'm So Glad is missing after I've unzipped the file and I'm assuming "Rain" was taken off because it's part of the FM complete solo set...am I right?

Is it possible to get "I'm So Glad?"

Thanks a mil!

I merely meant that 'you're a geezer' in the sense that you are a great person! Sorry if I inadvertedly offended you, maybe it's a midlands thing? Great bit of sharing though, thanks!

Thanks a lot! Great to have such an early recording;-)
Just another question. On back cover of the bootleg there'a son called "So Sweet". "Stone Free" that you've uploaded isn't on it. Is this the same song with wrong name? Or something else missing on the bootleg?

Thanks very much! Parts of my old recording were cut in places for some reason. Has anyone got a accurate setlist cause this seem slightly muddled. Theres no I'm So Glad file to download and So Sweet seems to have apeared...

I've seen a few covers knocking around, one is in the gallery. Another one has Freddie sniffing a flower or something...

Anyone else got any good early Freddie/Ibex photos?
