Totally....... This is a not like weezer of old, I love there blue and pinkerton albums but i guess i'l have to give the new album a listen cause you cant judge an album by one song i guess...Weezer songs are simple songs by nature but i think beverly hills is too mainstream poppy and not quirky weezer that i love... my name is Jonas and Say it aint so are my favourite songs. buddy holly fab song and one of my fav videos of all time..xx

I don't have anything negative to say about Weezer, really. Except that I do dislike their new song Beverly Hills. Not that it's bad; it's just that everytime I hear the beat of it, I just hear We Will Rock You in my head. Couldn't the boys of Weezer could've been a little more original here ?

The beat of BH sounds so much like the beat of WWRY, that when BH came out one the radio, I once heard a host who made noticed to all the radio listeners how the beat sounded the same to WWRY by Queen. He even played the two songs at the same time just so we can hear how it's the same.

And not only the beat of Beverly Hills is the same as WWRY, BUT - anyone noticed the intro of the song, like the 2 or 3 first seconds ? It sounds the same as God Save the Queen on A Night at the Opera.

yes it was plain to see, yes it was meant to be...

Yeah it's kinda familiar. I do like the song how ever. It's one of the few Weezer songs I like. I have one friend that's obsessed with Weezer like I'm obsessed with Queen.

The beat sounds more like "I love rock and roll" than WWRY, although "I love rock and roll" uses the stomp stomp clap thing as well. Anyway the song is dull.
