Come on you guys and gals who were at Globen for the gig, I'd love to read some honest reviews. I personally was blown away, not only with Brian and Roger, but Paul Rodgers left a lasting impression on me. I'll get back with a full blown review when I've got my head together and when my ears are back to normality!!!!

Fantastic concert in Stockholm, i was 13 when Freddie died, therefore it was the first time i ve listened to queen music live

the globe arena was filled to 2/3 of the capacity

but when the concert it didnt matter,

PR did a great job, I am glad that MAy and Taylor sang as much as they did,

i liked the slow version of hammer to fall,
PR songs fitted in well in the show,

and in the end of the concert the audience and Queen +PR sang all toghether, amazing

it was also nice to hear show must go on,

Brian May assured the scandinavian fans that he still had the clogs he had received from the audience in 1975

great show, it would be nice to see them again

especially to see them in England, are all tickets sold out?

Right, here we go!
The evening couldn't have started better for me, after hanging around outside the Grand Hotel for about 45 minutes, Brian came out to head off to Globen for the soundcheck. The waiting Merc had the engine running, so we fully expected him to rush by without even time for a quick photo. However, the curly-haired one stopped in his tracks and started signing stuff, no ego there-cheers Bri.
The concert started with Track 13 and then Eminem which I thought was a strange track to pick, but funnily enough it worked perfectly-an amazing beat that got the whole of Globen jumping around in anticipation. Everyone was expecting Paul to show up on stage, but as the first chords to Reachin' Out started to play, there he was, at the end of the catwalk-how the hell did he get there without anyone noticing-it certainly took everyone by surprise. For all those doubters out there, Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices I've ever heard, and I would put him up there with Freddie, who I've seen 9 times. They both have their own very distinctive styles, and only a fool (or a music journalist) would dare to compare.
We were at the side of the stage and could see behind as Brian was struggling to get through the curtain to strike up the intro to TYMD!
But God, did it rock. The band sounded HEAVY and tight-absolute bliss.
The gig hammered along at an amazing pace. Roger looked so in charge of his kit as he bashed his way through song after song and Brian was playing like a demon, while Paul was having no trouble hitting all the notes, sometimes even outdoing Freddie himself!
Highlights:
Roger presenting Say it's not true by asking if we were all wearing condoms, and explaining that he was and that Jamie was infact wearing two!!
Love of my life- very moving, and I'm sure I saw Brian wiping away a tear after.
I'm in love with my car-How does Roger play with such energy and sing at the same time?
These are the days-Roger's voice works perfectly for this song. It was so moving to see the films of the band in the early days. I don't know how Brian and Roger don't burst out into tears-I had a lump in my throat, I can tell you!
All right now-Paul is a true rocker and entertainer. He had the crowd in the palm of his hands and the whole of Globen was rocking to the foundations.
On the whole it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I wasn't sure the Swedish crowd would get going, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everybody seemed to have a great time (except for the idiots that call themselves music journalists). The band were on top form, Pauls voice was incredible, Brian is the guv'nor, and Roger is just amazing.
I'm sure Freddies up there looking down with a huge smile on his face!
Long live Queen

It has alway been my dream to go on a Queen consert. I was only 3 when Freddie died:( So when I saw that they were going to have a concert i Stocholm, I and my mother decided to go (She is a huge fan to, and has raised me to like Queen music ;) ) We are from Norway, so it was like a little holyday to :)
Well, now to the concert: It was great! Paul is not Freddie, but that was not the point here. He did a great job. He's an amazing singer:)
Brian and Roger was great :D Excellent guys, very talented (I already knew that of course, but seeing them live was just amazing) Brians guitar solo was cool! :D The best moment was "Love of mye life" omg, I started to cry, and I saw plenty of others who whiped their eyes to.
Radio GaGa was also fun^^ Since (as I have said before) I'd always wanted to do that clapping-hands-thing. So that was just great. Boh Rhap was great to:D Freddie sang ^^(This is the only time where I think it's ok with playback ;) )
I missed a few songs: Headlong, Made in Heaven and Noone but you:) But thats me;)
This is something I'll remember for the rest of my life :)

love Siri

now listening to "Scandal"

"Mother Mercury, look what they've done to me"
