Anyone seen this tribute band? They're coming to Glasgow next Saturday. I'm gonna buy tickets no matter what, but I'd like to know if anyone else has seen them and what they think.

I've seen Mercury, QEII, Gary Mullen and Magic before and I reckon Mercury were the best tribute band Ive seen.

Matt,

Ga Ga are superb. Having seen most of the tribute bands, Ga Ga are truly brilliant. They play Queen music with passion and although there is only three of them, they make it sound really good.

You won't get the dressing up, or even the Red Special guitar. But they make it happen ....

Enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Regards
Steve

Mercury is great, but "Brian" is a foot too short. But who's complaining?

Seen them tonight and they were superb. Musically very talented.

Leads singing wasn't as powerful as some of the tribute bands I've seen in the past, but he still belted the songs out in his own fashion. (Playing lead guitar as good as he did at the same time means nobody could complain)

GaGa Are said to be the best tribute band around. Whats the point in dressing up to look like queen when you know they will never be queen so stop trying to be them. These three lads know the score and put all there musical powers not into there wardrobes, but into sounding as most as they can to the sound Queen created live! If your a seriouse queen fan and want to see a proper tribute band then these are the one's you want to see. Although they play the songs as you'd want them to be played with passion and enthusiasm they put there own tallents into queen songs such as Crazy, Bite the Dust they show what there really made of, with some absolutely amazing gutair work. If you'd close your eyes, you would think there queen. With them staring in the BBC Documntry "The Making of Bohemian Rhapsody" playing at Party In The Park. And the Dutch queen Convention your looking at three well experianced lads. You'll get no cheesey moves from these guys just pure Rock 'n' Roll

I've seen them twice. Both times, they were great.

Only tribute band I've ever seen to use pyro.

But, I wouldn't say they were as good as Paul Rodgers, whoever siad that (I forget who it was).

Actually, no he doesn't wear a yellow jacket, moustache, or a vest. There are only three of them and musically they are excellent They don't pretend to be Queen, they just play the music how it should be.

Sorry my friend, I'm living in the real world, I'm not a loser, and I paid good money to see them, and I would again.

Heh newcastle 86! your funny you should of really looked into GAGA first before assuming anything, but i do agree with the Queen tribute band who just go out there are recreate the 86 tour. Come on guy, Queen did more then just the 86 tour you know!! when I go see a Queen tribute band I want them to play all the hit and other songs

And before he stick his big nose in no BPP the QPR tour isnt a Queen tribute band tour

I saw them at St Helens theatre royal a couple of years ago. Made a promise to myself never to watch another tribute band.

They play Queen songs. That's it. The singer don't sound like Mercury and don't play like May.
