I hope Queen will try some songs on the rest of especially during the outdoors.
Songs which could be sang by Paul:
- Keep yourself alive
- Let me live (with brian and roger)
- Headlong
- Innuendo
- The miracle

What do you think?

i totally exept with you that ,,let me live'' with roger and may vocals should be in. one song that they can perform great is ,,no one but you'' and i think this one will be in soon. i'm hopeing songs like innuendo, made in heaven, my life has been saved, heaven for everyone but i'm afraid that they wont play any of those songs...

So do I

NO WAY. Paul said he enjoys singing the tracks witha bit of space between lines, more in the blues manner. Even A Kind Of Magic is like that. What he cannot do- and he admited it- is to sing all those really "busy" and fast lyrics. Keep Yourself Alive is an absolute no-no IMO. So is Stone Cold Crazy- and I bloody wish they coulkd do it...

This one actually could work pretty well!

wjansen77 wrote:

- Headlong

Well... 50/50, I guess... It's not really slow, I guess Paul could do it... In fact- Brian could (well...) sing it...

wjansen77 wrote:

- Innuendo

YES, YES, YES! Bring it on!!!

wjansen77 wrote:

- The miracle

Again- he could pull it off pretty nicely! That is agood track for Paul IMO.

Aned there are others- See What A Fool I've Been for instance. Brian every night is introducing Paul as a best white blues singer and yet- there's no blues in the set...
Or maybe White Man? It's Late? Those track would REALLY suit paul's voice! How about Get Down Make Love- Paul could sing it!!! BUT- they're not Greatest Hits... And after Sheffild, where ppl couldn't recognise I'm In Love With My Car... I dunno...
Anyway- I'll be really pissed off when they go to US, drop all those Magics and Break Frees and put some 70s stuff. I'll be really gutted... I wanted them NOW!!!

I don't think we should expect too much surprises for the rest of the indoors but maybe there might be a few more songs when it comes to the outdoors.

I would very much like to see a complete performance of LONG AWAY and the return of SEAGULL into the set list. Maybe even TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU which they only performed on the very first evening of the tour.

There are a few songs left of course they used to play on most of their previous tours such as KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE or NOW I'M HERE.

Almost everyone expected them to play gems like SLEEPING ON THE SIDEWALK or TENEMENT FUNSTER - the latter of which Roger used to perform on his '94 and '99 solo tours.

Why didn't they use HEADLONG for their set? This was one of the most expected choices for the tour i guess.

And at last there are even a few Paul Rodgers songs i would have very much liked to hear them play live such as BAD COMPANY or FIRE AND WATER.

Picking up what has been suggested yet i would like KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE but i think Fenderek is right it might be too hard for Paul to perform it. LET ME LIVE surely would turn out to be a really nice one. HEADLONG (most probably sung by Brian) should be a standard. INNUENDO might be great but i don't expect them to try. THE MIRACLE is one of the few Queen songs i really dislike i'm very sorry about that. MADE IN HEAVEN wouldn't fit the set either as does MY LIFE HAS BEEN SAVED. HEAVEN FOR EVERYONE could be very nice with Roger on vocals. I very much would like to have them perform STONE COLD CRAZY too but i don't even dare to hope they would play this one. SEE WHAT A FOOL I'VE BEEN could be great for Paul but i'm afraid that's too much unknown a song so it most probably won't be an option. WHITE MAN, IT'S LATE, GET DOWN MAKE LOVE all would be fine choices but i'm afraid none of them has a real chance to be performed.

To throw just a few more in: LIAR (Paul or Roger) - this would be really starving -, ONE VISION (Paul), PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE (Paul) - i know i'm dreaming -, BREAKTHRU (Paul or Roger), SCANDAL (Paul or Brian) and of course NO ONE BUT YOU (Roger & Brian)...

So are there still any songs left which they did rehearse but not perform yet except for DRAGON ATTACK?

I agree with you that Roger could sing Breakhtru, they could play Innuendo as well, they played it at Freddie Tribute and for me it sounded very well with Robert Plant,
but songs like It's late, See what a fool i've been or Get down make love are very much unknown so I think it's better for them not to play them. Who wants to live forever would be good choice, because Brian could sing it. First few verses are sung by Brian and when I started to listen Queen I didn't even notice that Brian actually sung that

I guess of all the tracks listed above Dragon Attack would be the most likely due to the rehersals.

I would love to hear that but fear we are running out of chances with only 3 gigs left before July.

It would be excellent if it turned up at Wembley tonight, but not really expecting any changes from the setlist used in Cardiff / Sheffield.

I guess there is more chance of it appearing at the outdoor gigs in the summer.

a great free blues song 'walk in my shadow' should have been in the set.

I'd like to hear

It's Late
Innuendo
Stone Cold Crazy
Now I'm Here - always been a big rocker
Sleeping On The Sidewalk

I really hope they will play some of these at the summer tour... at least at Arnhem :D

i heard their performance of 'no-One but You' from a few years ago, Amsterdam maybe? i didnt particularly like it, but 'another one diets the bust' (i love your name lol, i thought my eyes had gone funny for a second there!) i think Dragon Attack would be a great track for the tour - and Roger singing Breakthru - that would be great!(but quite unlikely) :( xxx

I like GaLiLe0's list. I love It's Late and Sleeping on the Sidewalk! The Miracle wouldn't work live. I still think the best way to make the fans happy would be to throw in an "olds" medley.

Never are they going to try the Miracle. Headlong and KYA are possible. Let Me Live and Innuendo, nope.

It's Late should definatly be on the tour. And Fenderek, I don't think they will drop IWTBF. It's become kinda famous there now.
