It made me pretty angry to read various reveiws which slated Rogers voice. He has a great rock and roll voice and I was delighted to hear I'm In Love with My Car at Sheffield. I think it is sometimes forgotten that Roger did a lot of amazing vocals over the years (Loser in the End and Tenement Funster to name a few) and I just wish he could have done one or two of these at Sheffield. I was listening to the wonderful Fun in Space album the other day - I had forgotten how brill it was!
While we are on the subject of voices I did hear a p*at in the audience slagging Bri off - saying that he should stick to playing his guitar cos he has such a feeble voice. Grrrrr! I cried when he did '39 and LOML - absolutely flipping fantastic!!

I don't know who slated Roger but must have been deaf. He's the real star of this tour- not only as a drummer, but also as a singer. I've heard him singing Hammer To Fall bridge few times- that rocked!!!

Both Rog and Bri have voices that do fit certain songs much better than the others. But in total, when it comes to Q catalog, they really need someone for majority of the songs to be expressed the way they are. Reason for that is that playing and singing may work for a song or two, but not for the whole gig. After all, Bri noted the same things more recently on his web page. Having Rog annd Bri only singing without playing doesn't really make sense much (for the whole gig of course).

I believe they both have much stronger voice right now than they should over the past 30 years. At least that is the impression from the gigs so far. But I agree they should stick to the instruments for most of the time. They way they have it right now is just fine (perhaps a little bit more of Paul on Radio GaGa and Let Me Live with all of them together).

i went to the Bham one and i know some people slagged him off beforehand, but as soon as he started singing 'Say It's Not True' i thought his voice was fantastic. i've always been a fan of his voice but it certaonly proved those critics wrong.

Roger Taylor is great. I love it when he goes off in I Go Crazy.

I never ever thought that Brian May was the man for the job when it came to Love of My Life, but when I heard him do it in Brixton it was amazing. It must've been very hard for him, that being the point in the show when he and Fred would've just gone acoustic.

Roger is the man of the tour for me. He still rocks in every way he can.

His drumming is so impressive, i love to watch him play, he just looks so cool playing drums and throwing in the background vocals.

I have always loved Roger's voice and this tour has proved that not only can he play the drums and sing he does both, individually and at the same time fantastically well. ROGER ROCKS!!! And he's damn sexy too!!

Well with having Jamie there Brian has no excuse for singing more. Roger is definetly that stand out man from the tour and after all these years he still gives I'm In Love With my Car his all. He seems to be coping pretty well with playing & singing in unison but wether he would be able to sing half a concert is another story. Queen - Paul Rodgers I hear anyone say?

The amazing thing that happens to me when i hear Brian at his solo concerts doing the Queen songs, is that i allways miss Roger voice at the bridges or chorus of the songs.

Even the Queen cover bands, sometimes i miss more the voice of Roger during "We are the champions" than actually Freddie´s voice. I don´t know why, but it happens to me all the time. I´m adicted to Roger´s voice doing harmonies.

As a drummer... well... he´s untouchable!! He´s the Jimmy Hendrix of Drums. He has feeling and Sex- appeal whyle playing the instrument. FANTASTIC!!

Take care

Yeah got to agree..at Birmingham Roger's voice was just superb. Even as a biased Roger fan I was blown away at how well he sang SINT - also Brian hit some mega high notes (esp mid of LOML and high part of Under Pressure). Having Paul singing the majority gives their voices the chance to rest and be at their best when needed.

Roger has an excellent, unique voice. Whoever wrote that must be a pretty sh*tty reporter who didn't have a story. Screw the press, why don't you think Roger keeps any newspapers in his house? I don't blame him. And Brian has a great voice, i have his solo stuff and i have listened to some of the concerts.

agreed - Roger's voice is great, at manchester i was actually surprised at just how good he sounded - not that i expected him to be crap, it just sounded so great.

Roger may not have the best voice in the world...but he is still a country mile ahead of most people in the charts, and the lead singers of all the crappy little bands that keep popping up!

I've always liked Roger's voice, and he always looks so cool when drumming AND singing lead. And don't get me started on his hot, growly intro to "I'm In Love With My Car!" Garcon, ice water please . . . and plenty of it! Roger's still got it. . . and plenty of it!

I LOVE ROGER, I LOVE ROGER, I LOVE ROGER. ROGER IS THE MOST HIGH OPERETTIC VOICE IN THE GROUP AS FAR AS HIGH NOTES AND HE IS THE MOST HANDSOMEST TOO. I HAVE LOVED ROGER SINCE I WAS ABOUT 10 YEARS OLD AND I LOVE FREDDIE, BRIAN AND JOHN TOO, BUT HE IS MY FAVORITE. WHEN I HEAR HIM IN AN INTERVIEW HIS VOICE JUST TAKES ME AWAY AND THE WAY HE LOOKS BACK INTO THE CAMERA WITH HIS GAZING EYES, I JUST LOVE HIM MORE. FUCK THE CRITICS WHO DON'T LIKE HIM WE DON'T CARE. THEY CAN SUCK COW PUCKY PIES FOR ALL I CARE.

I loved Rodgers voice on the gigs. He has that kinda gruff voice voice that realy reminded me of Rod stewart. Say its not true and Radio ga-ga were amazing.

Good to hear Roger singing I'm In Love With My Car and Brian singing '39. Not the sort of songs Paul can sing. Also, Freddie tackled '39 badly on Live Killers. Not only did he forget half the words, but his voice doesn't suit that song. Not once Brian's sung it anyway.

Roger has a great voice. Maybe they should let him do the voice of Tony The Tiger in the Frosties Ads- I think he'd be good at that.

This can't end well.
