Check the soapbox!
What is it going to be? Cheap tickets? Golden Circle? Platinum Circle? ;) They're gonna do something though, great!

I guess they can't offer Golden Circle tickets as most if not all of these are sold already unless they make that area much bigger.

I think the platinum area is out because all the people who bought tickets for the Gold Area thinking they will be at the front of the stage will complain.

My guess is that they will offer cheaper tickets for the non-golden circle area. Do they still have 8,000 or whatever the capacity of Wembley was left?

I already have a ticket for the normal area at Hyde Park, so will be hoping for some money back.

I would love to upgrade to the golden area but I can't see it happening.

Just don't throw your Wembley ticket stub away if you still have it. Although I guess ticketmaster will still have a list of everybody they sold wembley tickets too, assuming you bought them from ticketmaster.

At least it appears that the band and promoters are thinking about doing something. From what I have seen the Wembley responses have been a lot less apologetic.

I am just glad that I had the opportunity to see them at several other venues on this excellent Tour where I got excellent views.

Ditto

Golden Circle would be great though...
Make it larger? I'm sure not all 8000 people will use the opportunity- many do not read Queen web sites regularly, how will they find out? IMO we're talking here no more than 2-3 thousand people- and I'm not sure if even this is not too much. Remember- some arrived from abroad to London for that gig and not necessairly will want to go to Hyde Park. I don't think we-re talking here 8-10.000 folks...
But you're probably right about "Platinum Circle".
How about... Bckstage Pass... ;)

Fenderek - yes, lottery, great idea! I'm not worried - Queen use this special UEFA system (or whatever) so we all know it will be very fair. We still remember that the Brixton lottery was a huge success :)

Absolutely- maybe this time I will win 3 times! And who knows- maybe Spike will be lucky and wins as well, therefore will be present at the gig! :) And yes- the brilliant UEFA system- just to make sure that after Wembley failure everybody will be happy and satisfied :)

As nice as it is for Queen etc to offer a special deal for Hyde Park, I can't see it being too brilliant. Luckily I've got my Hyde Park Golden Circle ticket booked already.

Whats the betting that this all turns into a sham ?

Guys, some of you need to realize that Brian and the band do NOT, IN ANY WAY, have to do anything for you about this...but they are, because they're genuinely good guys. Some of you are bitching, mostly in other topics but a little here, too, about having already bought Hyde Park tickets, about the quality of the deal, etc. So if you've already bought a ticket to Hyde Park and you're pissed because this won't benefit you, why not use the special offer (whatever it may be) for a friend, etc., if that's what's being offered. Since I do not believe that this is the band's fault, but more that of the venue and the distributor, the fact that they're doing something to help, on ANY level, is a kindness that should be appreciated. What other band would care enough about their fans to take one on the chin when they don't have to? VERY few.

I'm really pleased that the band are taking our concerns so seriously. I was in Block F which was the raised bit at the back, and although i could see the stage fairly well, it seemed miles away. To then be asked for £4 to borrow a pair of binoculars (which are unpractical at a rock concert anyway), is unbelievable cynicism.

I think that Wembley folk will be offered the unsold Hyde Park tickets (outside the gold circle) for free. As most it'll cost them 10000 tickets and it might also mean that, if tickets sales aren't going as well as they had hoped, the venue will look much fuller on the day.

I agree Greg- it is wonderful for the guys to offer ANY type of compensation. I am glad I saw them at other venues...flying back over from the state for a special deal at Hyde Park would be quite difficult.

Ah well-
