According to the Fan Club magazine:

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fabulous A Night At The Opera album, there will be a special edition release later this year.

Deja vu anyone?

John S Stuart: 11 March 2005 - 00:50 (UK) - "The "boxsets" have been cancelled - because they are in NO one's interests... The first release WILL be some time THIS year - "A Night At The Opera" 30th Anniversary special edition (heralded to a great fanfare) - possibly followed by "A Day At The Races"... Meeeeooowwwwwwww!!! That's another cat escaped from the bag!

There is stil time for Jim Beach to change his mind, and cancel it because he does not want to flood the market.

Looks very promising though.

"But i would love to hear Bohemian Rhapsody with no vocals..."

And what about the "opera section"? Always thought they put some much effort into it... ;-)

NO - no, no, no, no, no, no...

This officially exists already! Seek it out!

Why take up much valued space on a special edition CD with stuff which is already out there?

I want stuff that I can not get hold of anywhere!
For Goodness sake, let's make special MEAN special - and NOT - rather mildly interesting!

Great. Can't wait too. And I'm really interested, if they do a new remaster of ANATO. Today's technology is much better than it was before. Or maybe they could use DVD-A remastering here.

Er, who says this will be two disc, or have anything new on it?

It could be a CD in a 12" LP sleeve...that would be "special".

Shite, but special.

How about a CD-ROM with a virtual mixing desk, so we can play around with Bohemian Rhapsody like Brian did on the GVH2 DVD? :)

The opera section and instruments only version can be heard on the BBC3 programme about BoRhap. It was shown back in December and has been shared here.

And as JSS said, there's the karaoke version that is the complete track without vocals.

Peace,
Adam.
