what about the way Ozzy treats his fans?
His first two solo albums were re-released in 2002 seriously tampered with Bob Daisley and Drummer Lee Kerslake's parts totally removed and replaced with session musicians. I trawled ebay to get the intact 1995 remasters. I also had a copy of 2002 Bark at the Moon, but as the personnel in Ozzy's band had changed, I figured I was safe with it,and on the packaging it said it was a remaster. I'd never heard the original so i couldnt argue with that.Only today when I was looking at amazon.com reviews I discovered this too had been altered(!!!). The remastering had taken on more re-mixing, with vocal effects changed, instrument volume increased/decreased, edits. I've just been downloading the original versions now.It feels so weird knowing I've been listening to the slighty messed up remasters, thinking them to be real!
or KISS, who actually said they had Ace Frehley on 1982's Creatures of the Night,he appeared on the cover, and he played not a single note on the album.
we may moan about QPL but they've never pull something like that on us. I'm suprised Eddie Van Halen didnt follow this route and re-recorded the classic 6 Van Halen albums with Sammy Hagar instead of David Lee Roth. *shudders at thought of Hagar singing Unchained*
