Cheese Worth Bumps, Bruises For Brits
Cheese Roll Ends With 20 Injuries, Winner On Stretcher

In Britain, more than 20 people have been injured in an annual cheese-chasing contest. And officials say that's good news, because usually more people get hurt.
It's the annual Cheese-Rolling at Cooper's Hill, a tradition dating back more than 150 years.
The contest takes place outside of Gloucestershire and challenges contestants to follow an 8-pound roll of cheese down a steep hill. People hurl themselves down the hill, trying to be the first to cross the finish line after the cheese. They often end up tumbling head over heels.
This year, three people went to the hospital with fractured limbs and 18 others were treated for cuts and bruises.
That's the cost of victory, apparently. One of this year's winners left on a stretcher -- clutching his cheese to his chest.
