yeah...ive thought about this for some time...i have mild depression (genetic) and i also suffer from stage fright...could those two in any way be linked? i know it sounds crazy, but if you really think about it, it might make some sense.

Yes... Many people who suffer from depression also suffer from social phobias and anxiety. The two can definitely go hand in hand.

yeah depression and anxiety go hand in hand, both are "cured" the same way janet knows her stuff

Anti deppressant and anti anxiety drugs can be used as a treatment. Zoloft is often used to treat both depression and anxiety disoders.
Cognitive therapy may also help.
