"We ARE hoping to put out a live DVD of Sheffield ... but as yet it has no title ...."

- a quote off Brian May's website.

I hope that this isn't his way of telling Queen fans that there is no longer going to be a DVD of Sheffield!!!

.....alternatively, just wait and see what happens.

Personally, I'd rather that they spent the time / energy on issueing "historical" product....

There aren't too many problems that could not be fixed with overdubs! ;-)

But indeed, unless something all of the sudden appears on the QP surface, best one can hope for is Houston as a bonus disc or maybe in some kind of live-box set thing.

But err... are we going to get into that AGAIN??

Who would really want a Queen & Paul Rodgers DVD? Its unlikely to prove commerically viable, especially when Queen Productions have a wealth of releasable & marketable material in their archives of the real band. The gigs didn't sell well due to Q&PR being a great band, they sold well, before most people had any idea what theyd sound like based purely on the back catalogue... I doubt the majority of people who attended any of the shows would be particularly interested in a DVD of it.

I do. If only because I was THERE, in the second row.

To be honest, I'll rather buy a Q+PR DVD than a Houston DVD. Not because of the performance (nothing can reach the quality of Queen gigs from the 70's). But because (1.) the sound & picture quality of the Q+PR will be undoubtedly amazing and because (2.) I attended several gigs of this tour. There's nothing better than watching something you were part of.

I don't know about the rest of you, buy I am really interested in this DVD. I wasn't at Sheffield, but in Madrid. I know is not the same gig, but still I want it on dvd. How would we feel now if it could have been possible to release a DVD of Houston 77 and people back then hadn't been interested in it? What a lost.
