300 songs ? why bother with an ipod - I wish I had your money to waste :-) that is just a cd or two of mp3's

Now if you had about 5000 tracks on a 20gb version (@128) but wish you'd got the 40gb version to get most of the rest of your stuff on then it would be better - not impressive but fills the machines better

I'm sure you could if you tried - just that you can get cd players that play mp3s for a hell of a lot less than you can get iPod's for. for anything less then 1000 tracks then rthey are a waste of money.

I know this as I do have one, just not big enough .... as my girlfriend keeps telling me ;-) ... she is on about the iPod ... I hope !!!!

Sheesh. Does it seriously matter to you whether or not someone has an iPod? If you don't like it, good for you, but there is no need to bash someone because of it.

I have Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, The Boomtown Rats, Cheap Trick, The Clash, Coldplay, David Bowie, Def Leppard, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, The Misfits, Mott the Hoople, Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Benatar, Paul Simon, Pink Floyd, Queen, The Ramones, The Scorpions, Simon and Garfunkel, Sting, Van Halen, and the Who on my iPod.
