I was at a Foo Fighters concert last night here in Iceland. After playing one song at the encore Dave Grohl asked if we would like to here Taylor Hawkins sing his song Cold day in the Sun, the crowd roared (ofcourse people knew that if Taylor was singing there was a good chance that Dave would play the drums which he doesn´t do very often).

Taylor came up front, got a guitar and asked if we wanted to hear his Freddie Mercury impersonation. The crowd roared again. Then Taylor started singing "Day-o" with the crowd like Freddie, people seemed to really enjoy it. Really fun.

I really like Taylor. I'm looking forward to his solo album. :D

Based on the topic title I thought this thread was going to be much kinkier.

Nope, I'd like some too. Icelanders don't seem to have a bootlegging culture.

People could have brought anything with them to that concert, there was not much security. We will just have to wait...

I saw the Foo Fighters last night at the Oxegen Festival in Ireland and Taylor sang his song of the new album called 'cold day in the sun'but before he did he asked the crowd did they like Queen to which there was a massive roar, he said he needed to do some vocal warm up's before he sang his song..He did 'Now i'm here' with the crowd exactly like Freddie used to it was uncanny he sounded just like him. BRILLIANT FESTIVAL..XX
