There was Marc Bolan and Noddy Holder
There was T.Rex and Slade
But do you like these glam rock legends?
My favourite Slade song is Skweeze Me Pleeze Me
My favourite T.Rex song is Cosmic Dancer
What about you?

I like Slade a lot. I know it's not as fastidiously as Queen but it rocks. Keep your hands off my power supply is one of my favourite Slade albums.
Great party music :D

Great band, Slade. "Far Far Away" is my favourite track of theirs.

But we'd never have had the finale of 'Lap of the Gods (revisited)' without them

Freddie or Brian mentioned it eons ago in an interview (source and brain cells not available for immediate recall)

Slade are great! And they're local Walsall boys like me!
Nice bit of trivia for you - if you go to the new art Gallery in Walsall (well worth a visit) the voice in the lift that tells you which floor you're on is none other than Noddy Holder himself!

How the mighty have fallen, eh? ;-)

Mind you, it's a step up from doing backing vocals on that bloody Ricky Tomlinson record of a few years back.
