Queen can't even be included in this, btw.. That wouldn't be fair..;-)

I must admit, I cheated a bit. I googled 1980s music and found a forum where people made these lists. I was amazed at how many people named Queen as their favourite 80s band then proceeded to list Bohemian Rhapsody as one of their top 10 80s songs. Dar oh dear.

I forgot to add Karma Chameleon by Culture Club. Gotta dig Boy George.

Considering 90% of the music I listen to is from the 70s or 80s, I don't think I could pick my absolute Top 10 from the '80s if my life depended on it. But here goes 10 off the top of my head:

1. Brilliant Disguise - Bruce Springsteen
2. Love Stinks - J. Geils Band
3. Here I Go Again - Whitesnake
4. When Your Heart Is Weak - Cock Robin
5. State Of The Heart - Rick Springfield
6. Don't Change - INXS
7. Sex - Berlin
8. You Are The Girl - The Cars
9. Come Back - J. Geils Band
10.Four In The Morning - Night Ranger

Didn't know so many people liked J Geils Band. I love their stuff as well as Peter's solo stuff!

I saw them back in 1999 on their reunion tour. It was an awesome show! They played for over 2 hours. Peter's a great frontman.

Yeah, Peter's solo stuff is good too. Too bad his great "Lights Out" album is now OOP...I used to have it on cassette back in the 80s. (or should I say I stole it from my sister's collection...LOL)
