Has any of you guys and girls noticed that Gwen Stefani quoted Another One Bites The Dust in her recent single Hollaback Girl?!

It's really that lyric line with the bass line under it...

er...just remember that the bassline of ''Another One Bites The Dust'', was directly taken by John from Chic's ''Good Times'', to which I only just recently found out that John was a VERY good friend of Chic's Nile Rodgers, and was with Nile at the Power Station recording studio in New York, when Chic wrote and recorded it...and then John a few years later..incorporated it into AOBTD. So...Queen have also done their share of tributes or being influenced by other artists.

...and kidding aside, actually you could say Gwen Stefani, was influenced by the bassline in ''Good Times'' as well, as AOBTD is a 2nd generation influence, Gwen's a 3rd.

Why is she a skank? Where is your proof? And she didnt split from No Doubt. Just because she made a solo album doesnt mean she left ND. Just because Freddie made a solo album did that mean he left Queen? Morons

Also, Don't Speak from No Doubt had its beginning chord steal from Supertramp's Breakfast in America. Supertramp were WAY BETTER than No Doubt. Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies can sing circles around Gwenny Baby Bop Stefanie. Gwen sounds like Baby Bop on Barney!

Gwen managed to make a nearly completely dispossable pop album that only appeals to teenage girls, and will long be forgotten just like all fabricated pop things.

I'd much go listen Tragic Kingdom for the 567th time, rather than listen L.A.M.B. once.

Gwen Stefani sucked when she was with No Doubt and she sucks now. Really all music sucks anymore, who is going to remember Gwen and No doubt it like twenty years? Music today has no staying power. So who gives a shit about this topic?

Its a tribute even if she is a skank.

Using that line in her song does not make her a thief.......

I don't think she's a skank but the girl has some issues with the way she acts. She's 36 years old and she acts like she's 16. I would expect artists to show more maturity as they get older, but Gwen Stefani goes backwards.
