I have been regularly watching and listening to Live 8 on the aol websites in the UK and USA.

But...up unitl today, it was in a regular windows media program.

Today, they must gave converted the entire broadcast. I cannot get any video/audio and I get an error message stating,

''Sorry, The AOL Media Playback Plug-In is required to view the media you are trying to access. Please reload this page to try again.''

What the heck does this mean? and is it something I could correct, download on a PC Library computer.

THANKS!

I clicked on the download for the aol media player plug in..and the Library PC has a BLOCK on it stating ''security settings won't allow that download''.

So I can't watch Live 8 anymore.

.......A few questions.

1) WHAT is a media player plug in?

2) What is it's purpose/what does it do?

3) WHY on earth would aol CONVERT a free broadcast from an accessible windows media software that anyone and most everyone DOES already have in any and all computers, to a software program that you have to install and...be ABLE to install...and if you CAN'T, then you CAN'T watch Live 8.

If this had already been on the original broadacst and the clips from the last 2 weeks, I never could have watched it.
