Lieden was very good, voice wise, the 1st 2 dates of Lieden that is.
Stockholm, the 1st date he sounds really fresh in terms of voice, I just can't listen to that bootleg much becuase of Bo rhap besing so early in the show.

yea i agree stockholm and paris!!! great vocals:)
in the david wigg interviews in 86 at freddie's home freddie says he cant do that vocal gymnastic stuff anymore like he used to:( he sounded imo pretty lowish in that interview, i think his voice was incredibly more powerful/operatic in 86 than in any previous year, ive gone slightly off topic oops sorry folks:)

i personally think it's a bit exagerated on these forums about freddie's voice sucking during wembly, don't get me wrong, he did have trouble with some of the straight foward pop, 'break free, and 'another one bites the dust' are some examples, but like some have mentioned, his operatic voice was in full force. magic and radio ga ga, who wants to live forever, is this the world we created, impromtu, in the lap of the gods are all examples of his excellence at this time, i think people hear what they wanna hear, i think freddie in those cases was stronger than ever.

wembley was not freddie's best gig from the magic tour.He surely wasn't bad,he had great moments aswell,I agree!Still I think it is obvious that there are some overdubs(like during one vision)If you watch wembley the first night it's clear he had some voice problems. That's no shame during such an intensive tour.

sorry it's off topic, the search button never works for me. is the one vision overdub you are refering to the brian guitar chord after 'one soul'?
has this been discussed before? if so would anyone be kind enough to let me know where please??????

we've no ancestral halls, no haughty portraits on our walls, no family monuments at all, unless it's my cousin sheila's stupendous clevage.
