...it's a Remo drumskin. Did anyone check if they made drumskins back in the 60-ies?

Looks fake to me, anyway...

Hmmm... looks like an obvious fake to me...

Just compare it to old Smile-pictures;
-the 'shiny'star should be yellow, not gold
-the brand of the skin is indeed also wrong and clearly from another era. It's true that Remo first invented synthetic skins as early as the late 1950's, but I've never seen Roger use one!
-buying it at Sotheby's from someone with a 'wrong' name doesn't sound convincing either
