^ That would be great, I love the Foo Fighters. I bet Brian could get them to do it since they seem close.

Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

they've got so many friends in the business it could be anyone...the Foos, they could bring the Darkness over...Crue (but I doubt they'd open)...but probably it'll end up being one of those acts from the Hollywood Tribute album....chances are that I won't care as I'll just be waiting for Queen to hit the stage....

and in response to Canadians going down...my wife and I are Canadian and we'll be heading down.....there will probably be a fair number of us I guess...

I agree. There were no opening acts at any of the spring shows even though the tickets I saw all said "plus support." They kicked things up a notch for Hyde Park with Razorlight.

If they do have an opening act, I'm pretty sure the Foo Fighters won't be it. I think they'll be on tour with Weezer starting in either September or October (can't remember).

Doestn't matter who opens up. I just means an extra 45 min. to an hour to tailgate. But I would go in to see the Foo's for sure.

William, I porposed that in a thread a while back too! Happy SOMEONE is on the same wave length as me and yes it would be a FAB idea.

I am sure Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins would be more than happy, if anything consider it an honor.

Green Day would be cool too or My Chemical Romance since all think so highly of Queen and are all well known USA current hot acts.

See this thread... :)

I have a feeling most Queen fans wouldn't be diggin' My Chemical Romance.. Saw them with Green Day.. I suppose they are mostly for the kiddies, cause I didn't get it..:-P

Green Day is too big now to be opening for anyone. They are playing on Giants Stadium, and I'm going there.

Canadians stay home. we don't want communistic freeloading parastic terror loving cowards. Go to a hockey game

Well we hope that you're not going to that show, first because you're an asshole, and second because the NY metro area is the melting pot of all cultures, nationalities and races. So you wouldn't like to see so many Jews, Hispanics, Blacks, Canadians, Asians, and gays all in the same place.

I'd strongly recommend you to stay home and wait for 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' when it comes out in theaters.
