Hi!

Isn't there a wax-figure (I have NO idea what it is called in English so I hope you understand!) of Freddie or even the whole band at Madame Tussaud's in London?? I was there recently and I thought that I read somewhere that there WAS a figure of Freddie but I did not see it...

When i was there about 10 years ago there was one of only Freddie.

He's wearing the stuff he wore at Live Aid.

There's a picture of me and the wax figure, it's pretty cool.

If you were to put the earphones on which were beside his statue, you could hear some queen music.

oh.. That is too bad!
I was really disappointed about the Madame Tussaud in London! Maybe a figure (is it called that???) of Freddie would help a bit! It was way too expensive to go there! There were not too many wax figures, I think! There were actually quite few compared to the Madame Tussaud in Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
But thanks, TaylorGaGa! :)

I saw Freddie in the Rock Circus in 1993 in the Live Aid display with the white vest and jeans, and then again in 2000, this time as Erin said, in the dead rocker section, this time wearing the red jacket with arrows.

In Amsterdam they have a Freddie figure....

I have also been in Copenhagen... but I thought that most of the figures there didn't really look like the persons... like Lady Di and Prince Charles... they where pretty bad actually....
Although I can't say it's the same with the Danish kings and queens, 'cause I don't really know what they look like.

The Freddie figure in Amsterdam is okay... but not really great.... You can tell it's Freddie, but I still think they could have done a better job... Although I do like the outfit he's wearing... that great yellow jacket of his :)

I would love to go to Tussaud's in London some time.... but if they don't have a Freddie figure I would be really dissapointed... Freddie was an important figure in music history... why would they remove him?

I think that you are right about the Madame Tussaud in Copenhagen. The figures there do not look like people. They look like dolls. We do not have a king in Denmark :) But we do have a queen. I cannot remember if the figure of her looked like her though...

I paid £18 to get in at Madame Tussaud in London. If you go there I think that you will think that that is very expensive when you leave, because you feel that you only saw like 15 figures or so. The figures are well made and do look like people, but there are just so few of them in London, unfortunately.

And yes, Freddie was very important in the history of music. The music kinda died when he died. So I do not understand why they removed him, either.

I was very disappointed with Madame Tussards, London. It took me longer to queue then it did to walk around, although I was impressed with the likelyness of the statues. However, when I visited they did not have a Freddie Mercury figure, which is a shame, it would be great to see one!

Like someone already stated, the Freddie Mercury figure is in Madame Tussaud's Rock Circus in Piccadilly Circus. Been there twice myself, in 1998 (Freddie figure in the Live Aid outfit and a huge painting of Freddie's face at the entrance) and in 2001 (red jacket, white trousers, in the dead rockers section).

I'd say this place is more worth your money than Madame Tussaud's, especially if the people in music business are what you want to see.. and they have a nice gift shop (with high prices) there as well..
