Why is this topic in the serious discussions???

And Fred sounds just like Fred singing a rock´n´roll song from the 50´s

Wanna read something funny? Don't answer that, I'll post it anyhow. I've been a Queen fan since 1978 and my GF (a couple years younger than I) insisted that Elvis penned Crazy. We had a big argument over this, mainly because she wouldn't concede when I showed her evidence and asked her to come up with her own.

Freddie doesn't sound like Elvis.

Elvis didn't write songs btw, and when this song was written (1979) Elvis was dead for 2 years

According to some sources Freddie scribbled down the words while he was in the bath !!?
Anyone else hear this ?
I think they were on tour in Switzerland or something at the time.

There are quotes from Freddie that he said he dragged a piano to his bath and wrote Crazylittle Thing.

But another quote from him he says he didn't write it on piano, cause if he would've had the song would've been very different

oh yeh, there is no doubt that CLTCL is inspired by elvis. all the deep mumbling and all, its elvis to a t. but freddie was a big 50's rock n roll fan (note setlists 'tutti frutti' and 'hello mary lou' on the magic tour).

In response to whomever said eariler that Elvis didn't write songs, that is incorrect and his authorship or co-authorship is credited in many of his songs.
