Some weeks ago I bought a Metallica DVD: Live @ San Diego 1992. As soon as I saw it on the shelfs, I reallized it was the DVD that was included in the Metallica: Live Shit - Binge and Purge box. For those of you who don't know: this is a box containing two different shows on CD, and one on video(VHS), the san diego one. This box has been re-released some 2 years ago on CD/DVD. However, this box is still priced at >50 euro's, so I didn't buy it but was planning on picking it up once it would be cheaper. However, now I found the DVD (at different record shops in town) from that box, with a complete different artwork and all, priced at 6 euro's. The label that released it is German. So would this kind of release be considered official, or not? Even german amazon has it (albeit for 3 times as much)

And if official, why the hell didn't they release the Queen at the Rainbow gig, from the box of flix?

Because then no one would buy the other stuff included in the box of flix?

Well, for one: that's no longer for sale.
Second, why does Metallica allow this? I mean, they are quite known for their anti-download policy. So can't imagine them approving of this

Yep, noticed the trix/flix error but didn't care :P

And indeed i saw the Gn'R stuff as well. Very weird that this is being sold without any protest from the record company. Apparently the Germans can release whatever they want to, without getting in trouble.

I really would like to see those guys releasing the Queen stuff that QP doesn't consider "good enough" to release.
