no way. The hair is like the symbol of Brian May. That and his Red Special of course.

It would be like when Freddie grew his mustache. At first fans wanted him to shave it, even tossing razors onto the stage during concerts. He didn't shave it, though, until the late 80's. Fans were somewhat surprised by his new look.

That would be the same with Brian. If he gave his mane a trim, it would seem a bit weird, given that we have seen him with all that hair ever since Queen began. I think he should keep it.

Brian's hair is part of what defines him. I also think that considering his age, he looks great with long hair and I have seen photos of Brian with short hair and it is NOT a pretty site.

Besides, tons of rockers in their 50'sand 60's still have their long locks and look great, ie:Gregg Allman, Ted Nugent, Lemmy from Motorhead, Sammy Hagar, Gene Simmons from Kiss, etc.

I say thumbs up to Brian! We love your hair!

Erin.....if you are out there, please feel free to post your neat picture of Brian madeout of keyboard strokes. :-)

If Brian were to cut his hair, it would be anarchy. People wigged when Freddie grew his moustache, they wigged when he shaved it off, people went into an UPROAR when Rog grew a beard! Do you honestly think anyone will show Brian mercy??? I think he only keeps it long because he knows many Queen fans will pelt eggs at his house or something.

Yes Brians hair is cool! Thumbs up!
It looks good even today, and I think it is better to have your own style rather than to change and letting yourself control or manipulate by the latest fashion like many others tend to do !!

I love the hairlooks of Erin

Reminds me of good old days

When the zone was young and charming

But good ideas don't need to be exchanged for crap

Let Brian keep his hair and play a bit more so that he has no need in filling his soapbox anymore :):)

Another fantastic posting of a wonderful person!

He could cut it a bit as Anita Dobson doesn't have such a big perm anymore, so they could have matching hair styles again.

Or he could go for the John look and be bald.

Bri's hair was short (compared to just about any other time in his career) around 1980. It was just about at his shoulders. It looked really good.

Brians hair goes in a cycle. It has been in, gone out and soon it will come back in to fashion...just like his clogs

Brian is like Samson, if he cuts his hair he no longer can play the guitar!!
And if he shaves his hair, his nose would grow so much,...geez, i don`t want to talk about it no more:))

Take care

I think the hair is still just fine. What he needs is face reduction surgery.
