1993-07-29 Interview with Roger Taylor (Gosport) - This is a TV interview, but I don't know for whom.

1993-02 Brian May on US Rockline

1993-05-06 Brian May on The Howard Stern Radio Show

And to be a complete pedant, it's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, not Tonite Show. That's just my anal retentive personality coming out :)

Roger played on few more tracks on Cowdray Park and at least one of them - Gimme Some Lovin' - have been bootleged as well as all tracks with John's playing.

By the way I thought it was Jason Faloon on guitars... There's moment where Roger presents the line-up, need to check it, 'cause my memory is bad and I could be wrong :)

You forgot the 1993 NMB remixes of Love Kills. The Symphony, Jazzy & Radio Mixes of that track are from 1993 if I'm correct ?

Pim: I am doing this more on a track listing basis - so the "Living On My Own" mixes will appear under the "Mr Bad Guy" 1985 sessions.

My reasoning for this is two-fold - First, I wanted to make it easy and collect all the versions under one umbrella. Therefore it is easier to read:

Living On My Own
1985 UK LP/ CD Version 3:23 CBS CDCBS 86312
1985 12" Extended 6:40 Mr Bad Guy CD: CBS CDCBS 86312
1985 UK 7” 3:03 Edit CBS A6555
1985 Brazil 12" 6:34 Remix
1985 Hybrid Edit: Early Later Versions 4:27 Solo Collection: 527 9640
1993 NMB 12”/CDs Extended 5:13 Remix Parlophone CDR 6355/ PM 517
1993 NMB 12”/ CDs Club 4:24 Mix Parlophone CDR 6355
1993 NMB 12” 5:07 Dub Mix Parlophone 12R 6355
1993 NMB 12” L.A. 3:39 Remix Parlophone 12R 6355
1993 NMB CDs Radio 3:36 Mix Parlophone CDR 6355
1993 NMB CDs Album 3:36 Mix Parlophone CDR 6355
1993 NMB Techno 3:47 Remix Home Mini-Disc
1993 Roger S. Underground Solutions 5:44 Remix Parlophone PM 517
1993 Julian Raymond 3:37 Remix Parlophone CDPCSD 124
1985 Original Promotional Video Freddie Mercury Video EP
1993 Remix Promotional Video Unreleased: Home Video

instead of having to plough through two or more seperate entries. (This being under 1985 because it was the original release date).

Second, When new remixes come along, (let's say a new version was released in 2007) I can add this new mix to the already existing list, without cocking-up the whole system. For example, there have been a few Queen (or Queen-based) "We Will Rock You" versions in the last five years or so, so this is why I stick to this system.

We Will Rock You
No “Fast” Studio version exists. BBC Session only
Album Version News Of The World: EMI CDP 7 46209 2
Karaoke Instrumental Japan Toshiba EMI TOLW - 3249.50
Solo Drum Track Unreleased: Home Mini-Disc
True A cappella Unreleased: Home Mini-Disc
BBC 14.11.1977 Freddie's Boys At The Beeb: Bulsara 001
1990 MFM 12” 53 Remix 5:58 Music Factory Master Mix Issue 53
1991 CDS Rick Ruben 5:00 Remix Hollywood Basic HB-66573-2

1991 12” Clap A cappella 1:59 Hollywood Basic ED 5529
1991 12” Effects A cappella Hollywood Basic ED 5529
1992 Dakeyne/Rock Mix 4:44 In Memories Of Freddie Mercury: RM-CD 01
1992 Ben Liebrand DMC Genesis Remix 6:29 12” Minimix
1998 eYe Commentary “57 Electronic Arts DDE05501 101S
1999 Queen Vs. Diffusion Dance Remix 4:20 Home Mini-Disc
2001 DJ Beeker Hannibal Mix Home Mini-Disc
2004 Monkeybut Vs. Dax Remix Home Mini-Disc
2004 DJ Cambota Promo Remix Home Mini-Disc
Queen feat. DJ Big Daddy Drum-Bass Remix Home Mini-Disc
Queen Vs. Moby (White Label Remix) Home Mini-Disc
Ultimix (Volume 50 SE) Home Mini-Disc
Jock Jams Mix Home Mini-Disc
Outro 29” Total Guitar CD Magazine
1991 12” UK DMC DJ Remix Wanted
12" Hardcore Mix Wanted
12" Jungle Mix Wanted
Promotional Video (Original 4x3 TV Ratio) Greatest Flix I & II: Pioneer PLMPD 01171
Promotional Video (Widescreen) Greatest Video Hits: Parlophone 7243 4 92944 9 3

Now all of these are listed under 1977, because I know that the original track was released as part of the News Of The World. For me, to list each track under the year of release would become confusing. Remember, it is just a cataloguing system after all!

I do agree that the mixes you suggest could "correctly" have been included here, but remember this is a "Collection", not a "Discography".

I hope this explains my type of madness!
