A short time ago I acquired a great lot of old LPs from my dad. I've always known that he had some but I guess I never realised how many there really were and what exactly was in his collection. Let me tell you how pleased I was to find out what he accuality had. Not to mention most are in execlent shape considering their age and that they've been sitting in a barn for the past 4 years.
Some notworthy items are;
Led Zeppelin - All except In Through The Out Door
Pink Flyod - The Wall and I think another but I don't recall exactly
Several Deep Purple albums (I just have them live in Japan with me at the moment)
About 3 Doors albums including L.A. Woman
The Who - Who's Next among others
The Worst of Jefferson Airplane - their gratest hits complitaion
The Kingsmen - orignal garage recording
2 copies of The Jimi Hendrix Expierence (he got another because he wore the other out)
The Kinks: Greatest Hits
Mott the Hoople: Greatest Hits
some Vinilla Fudge
3 of Cheech and Chong
Holy crap, I can't remember many more but what I've listed make up only about 1/5 of what he has (hey I can only carry so many) and seening as I only have a week left before I leave I don't think I'll be getting through the rest for a while. Which is too bad because all of this could keep me busy for a few months. Not to mention I just won a lot of old Queen LPs on e-bay. I hope they come before I leave . . .
