Is that bassguitar or synth ?
I think it's both to be honest.
It doesn't sound like an bassguitar doesn't it ? , but it has some depth so it could be both.
What do you think ?

Yes, I agree. Sounds like they've used both ways - like in 'Breakthru' also, for instance.
