what do you think is the best song musically and lyrically. This doesnt mean what is YOUR favourite song, look a bit deeper and find which song is the best. which song shows the best from all members of queen. For me i would have to say March of the black queen and bohemian rhapsody.

Probably Was It All Worth It

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Unfortunately I dont have just one fav song and Queen had so many wonderful songs but if I had to choose one that touched me the most it would have to be Somebody to Love, because Freddie's voice is almost perfect both in the lyrical emphasis and the musical arrangment of the song itself is dead-on.

Cheers,
David

I think death on two legs is a good one. The music is in fine form and the way Freddie sings it, is just perfect. u can tell that he means every word he says. Great lyrics also

Bohemian Rhapsody... it took the most time and was carefully arranged and is genious. It is not my favorite Queen song, but it is the best song musically and lyrically.

People seem to be posting their favorites, not the ones that are the best musically and lyrically. You don't have to love the song to admit it's best.

I know one song that actually won an Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically was Too Much Love Will Kill You. A little help from Frank Muskers on the lyrics didn't hurt.
But for a personal choice, White Queen and Lily of the Valley are good examples.

Teo Torriatte for me. Its just so powerfull. Songwriting perfection. Should have been bigger then Bohemian Rhapsody and definatly a better anthem then We Are The Champions.

A lot of the same opinions. Not that I disagree, but I think "Teo Torriate" is particularly beautiful and poetic, and "Drowse" has a classic sound and reminiscent splendour about it. Two of my favourites, for sure.
