Probably Brian...I'm most like him anyway (except possibly Freddie). It'd be amazing to be Freddie but I don't think I could handle all the attention! Brian's got so much talent and he's also really respected, too.

Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

I'd be Freddie, simply because I can play his songs on piano (however, as Freddie I would be quite useless at the singing end of things - - too low a range)

I've heard your demos shanemcd - they are excellent, you play very well.

Me, I'd be John - quiet and in the background.

Any way the wind blows - doesnt really matter to me !

Mmmm... I am a guitar player, but I would say I am more like Freddie... minus the gay sex.

No, he quit sometime in 1987 because Debbie had pnemonia.

I'd be Roger, but i would want him to be taller.
I've already got a similar quiet husky voice as him (except with a Scottish accent and not as good a singing voice as him! lol)

Brian because I look like him, he plays amazing guitar, he tells people EXACTLY what he thinks about them AND he writes beautiful tunes from the heart.
Hell! Nevermind BEING him! I'd be happy just knowing him!!!

Despite I play keyboard and piano, I think I'd rather be John Deacon...I wouldn't want to be in the limelight like Freddie or Brian, like John I wouldn't want to sing in the songs, just write some of them and play bass brilliantly.

Just turn yourself into anything that you think that you could ever be,

Hey Shanemcd, where can I hear your music?

I've been away from the boards since Friday but I have some demos I recorded on my Queen site at http://queen.shanemcdonald.org - the downloads are on http://queen.shanemcdonald.org/downloads.html .
I had some recording problems on some of them and others were recorded in only a few minutes and I intend re-recording them to accommodate a tighter tempo. But if you're interested you can have a listen.

Thanks also to user fredmie for your comments - glad you enjoyed them !

I would be Roger, cause I liked the wild side of him, his passion for cars (just like me) and of course......to still be alive today!

Oh yes we'll keep on tryin'

I think I'm most like Roger. I like Cars, and boats. I like women, but not too thrilled with the idea of marriage. Just a happy, easy going fella who's crazy enough to pick his nose in public too!

Many thanks LeroyBrown11
I have a Boss BR532 Digital Studio (4 track) which uses a SmartMedia card, but at the moment I have to rely on connecting the headphones out socket to the microphone in jack on the PC and record it on "Cool Edit", which is a nice sound recording package.

I liked the sound I got from the "Forever" track, but I intend re-recording some of the existing downloads on the site, as the timing went a bit astray on some of them and the piano sound may not have been what I was after. As you will have noticed my guitar work is not the greatest but its getting better as I do new stuff.

I'm thinking of doing "It's a Hard Life" next.

A combination of Brian and Freddie.

How'd you learn how to play all of those?

I actually sit down with a CD player and the Queen albums and listened by ear for the chords / bass notes and transcribed them by hand.
Thats mainly how I learn the songs. I have some sheet music which I used to get the finer points of songs like Bo Rhap, but I no longer need the music to play them.
