Today, September 11th, 32 years ago (1973), Salvador Allende died in chilean government palace (Palacio de La Moneda). And the socialist government falls under a military dictatorship, whit Pinochet at head.

Since 1973 to 1989, Pinochet killed a lot of people for different thoughts...

32 years had past since that, and i want to remember all the people who died under Pinochet's dictatorship.

Ni perdon, ni olvido para lo asesinos.

Greetings from Chile.

I think that the rise of Pinochet in Chile is a good example the worst way to get rid of an extremist government is to replace it with an extremist from the complete opossite side.

How can you compare Allende to the Pinochet regime? Allende was elected by the people of Chile AND the parliament in a democratic process while Pinochet was a dictator who came to power by (CIA funded) military coup. And please don't tell me this is a conspiracy theory, there are numerous public documents proving the CIA involvement and Kissinger admitted it to the world public. The Chilean people were ruthlessly handed over to a cruel dictatorship to protect the interests of the US copper industry (and other economic interests).

Allende virtually brought the country to a bankrupt.
Pinochet saved the country in this aspect (after some years).

He was a dictator who was killing his opponents and I don't want to defend him in any way but at least he didn't ruin the country.

I totally agree with you. Pinochet was even more of a fascist right wing extremist, than Allende being a left wing communist. The CIA feared that Allende was going to become the next Fidel Castro, and they thought that he was going to become a role model to follow for other South American leaders.

Pinochet was a killer such as Galtieri and Videla in Argentina, and Bush now on USA... but my point is we all want to live in peace... Pinochet hasn't been judged by genocide, he have troubles with money that he robbed to Chile under his dictatorship...

The only thing we want is see him on prison by genocide and steal money... and finally see him on prison, specially for the memory of all the people he and other militarys killed on the past.

I'm not saying that Allende was a good president, i'm saying that Pinochet's way took the government, was very stupid and ugly.

Ni perdon ni olvido.

Greetings from Chile.
