I never trust internet sites where you have to give the money first.

Oddly enough, very few websites will send you stuff before you pay for it...

To Tia, I also had a hard time getting the "Mercury and Me" book. I actually went and got my through ebay. Well, good luck, Tiffany

Amazon have always charged me for items on dispatch, not at time of order - if they have taken your money then you can take action against them

I actually went through the exact same thing with the exact same books Tia, and you won't be getting them at all I'm afraid. They're both out of print, but unlike every other Amazon site in the world, UK still lists them as available. After 4 months of "it'll take another 4-6 weeks", I finally got a "so sorry, can't get 'em at all" message. I was planning to go to war, as if they had taken my money and collected interest on my capital for all that time, it would be fraud and larceny, but I don't think they do take the money till things are dispatched. Pity, as I was hoping a good war would cheer me up from the depression of not getting the books.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!
