I was just watching Inside Australian Idol and the theme is supergroups. 5 Queen songs! I'm bothe excited and nervous to see how this group goes. Because they have a whole range of the songs. Going from one of the easiest to the hardest. The songs are-
1. We will rock you
2. I want it all
3.We are the champions
4. Somebody to Love and finally...
5. Bohemian Rhapsody.
I just hope that they don't ruin the songs.

why do you 'just hope' ???

what difference does it make? why are queen fans so 'hung up' on other people's renditions of queen songs??? -

after hang-gliding - 'worrying/stressing about cover-versiosn of queen songs' is the most bizarre sport known to christendom

it really doesn't matter who wrecks what song....every single minute on this planet at least a 200 well-known songs are getting destroyed by 'part-time-superstars aka - karaoke pissheads' ...and of those at least 1 or 2 are likely to be queen songs....chill out...

LMAO..and don't forget Bill Murray aka Saturday Night Live...''Everybody Wang Chung Tonight'', which he also uses every opportunity he can to do in movies as well.

I forget which song he karaoked in ''Lost In Translation'', but in top form he intentioanlly butchered it. LOL :-)

Right now there are 831 drunk Japanese businessmen actually standing at the karaoke mike in the Tokyo metropolitan area alone, wailing away as we speak. 32 of those are singing Queen tunes!

6 are singing "Spread Your Wings" ("Spled Yoh-a Weengoozoo")
3 are singing "WATC" ("Wee ah zah Champyonzoo")

The other 23 are mix and match, and trust me, some little Aussie punk can't possibly butcher our favourite tunes worse than the drunk salary men in Japan. So take a deep breath and relax - it's all gonna sound like shite compared to Freddie anyway.

Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

That's where the film ''Lost In Translation'' is set in, Japan!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to:

Brenski,

Arlene, and

Kagezan

For your first class, well-written, outrageously humorous responses.
