My favorite disco song is not actually from the 70s.

For those who saw 'Napoleon Dynamite', you will probably think of the most memorable scene in the movie where Napoleon dances after Pedro's speech. Well, the song playing is called 'Canned Heat' by Jamiroquai.

My favorites are as follows:
Got To Be Real-Cheryl Lynn
September, Let's Groove-Earth Wind and Fire
Play That Funky Music-Wild Cherry
Best Of My Love-The Emotions
Shake Your Body-The Jacksons
T.S.O.P(The Theme of Soul Train)
When Will I See You Again-Three Degrees
Dancing Queen-ABBA
Stayn' Alive-BeeGees
If You Can't Have You-Yvonne Elliman
Holiday, Into The Groove-Madonna

(A few years ago, in my country there was a boom for enjoying '70s disco songs, and I got into them. So, most of my favorites are from '70s. I love dancing along with those songs.)

I think disco is seen more as a guilty pleasure genre.
