Since there is bugger all to do in St Boswells except visit The Scott's View (that's for you, fudgeukraine) I have compiled a list of pointless Queen trivia. Enjoy and if you spot any flaws then you are a very sad individual with far too much time on your hands. Bryans Permed Poodle, you are just a very sad individual.

White Queen is the only song on Queen II without an 'O' in the title.

Brian is the only Queen member not to have written a song with 3 'N's in the title.

Freddie Mercury has the same number of letters as Faroukh Bulsara.

Jazz is the first Queen studio album not to feature the 'Queen are:' thingy.

A Night At The Opera is the first Queen studio album where the 'Queen are:' thingy has the names of the band members in lower case.

Flash Gordon is the only Queen studio album to credit each member individually with a synthesizer.

Most tracks on Flash Gordon have no lyrics.

The Works is the only Queen studio album with a proper picture of Freddie with a moustache on the front sleeve.

Freddie is the only Queen member who has two eyes shown on the front sleeve of The Miracle.

Freddie & Brian are the only two Queen members whose names appear the same on the 'Queen are:' thingy on all the albums it is on.

Hot Space is the first Queen studio album where Jobby is thanked.

Bohemian Rhapsody is the only Queen song where none of the words in the title are featured in the lyrics.

Made In Heaven is the only Queen studio album where all the tracks have at least one 'E' in the title (if you spell Track 13 as Track Thirteen).

Roger is the only Queen member not to play guitar on any album.

John is the only Queen member not to sing on any album.

Freddie is the only Queen member to write a No.1 single alone.

Brian is the only Queen member with the same hairstyle he had in 1973.

Your Kind Of Lover is the only song where Freddie mentions being gay.

Robbie Williams sang We Will Rock You at Live 8 7294 days after Freddie sang it at Live Aid.

A Day At The Races is the only Queen album to shorten 'No Synthesizers' to 'No Synths'.

John is the only Queen member not to have released at least one solo album.

Freddie is the only Queen member to have written
a song with 4 'N's in the title.

Flash Gordon is the only Queen studio album where the name of the album is above the name of the band on the front sleeve.

A Night At The Opera is the first Queen studio album with the crest on the front sleeve.

The most common word on this post is 'The'.

This can't end well.

I'm feeling rather sad, maybe because of this:

Roger played guitars on the song "Sheer heart attack" on NOTW. :P

Bohemian Rhapsody is the only Queen song where none of the words in the title are featured in the lyrics.

-- good up until that but sheer Heart Attack has two that doesn't mention the title in the lyrics, Tenement Funster and Brighton Rocks.

I wan gonna post about the Your Kind of Lover "Wanna boogie down with you brother" "talk it out man to man" stuff but I never got around to it, but yeah Freddie wasn't in any closet. It's pretty obvious he kept it real. Sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you dont. You may want a breast or some tuna.

Ah ROCK of ages do not crumble love is breathing still.

So BR's got one of the words in the title.

To cast aside the fury of the battle.

To turn my weary eyes for home.

Roger played guitar in all albums from A Day At The Races to Hot Space and probably The Works as well.

> Freddie is the only Queen member to write a No.1 single alone.

They all did: Ga Ga, Break Free, Las Palabras ... if you mean in the UK, all but John: Rockyou was #1 when covered by Brian, Roger and Five; Days Of Our Lives (credited to the band but composed by Roger) was #1 as double A with Rhapsody.

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Thanks for responding.
Good responses.
I wasn't sure about the title-lyrics thing. (Forgot about Tenement Funster!)
Roger isn't credited with guitar on any album.
As for number ones, I meant in the U.K.

This can't end well.

He plays guitar on a couple songs from NOTW. He played on Sheer Heart Attack and Fight From The Inside. He even played bass on both too. I remember seeing it when I was litening to the album yesterday.

They are on the CD album credits too are they not? In News Of The World, check below the lyrics for each song, and it has info about who sang it, who played the bass etc etc, same with A Day The Races, look after the Drowse lyrics, it says about Bri playing slide guitar and Rog playing rhythm or something similar.
