Every now and then I see Queen comic books on eBay. Were they official Queen releases? How many were there? What was the content, please?

Are they funny or are they like those boring judge parker comics? That's what I'd like to know. But I wish i had them if they were funny! I would also like to know what's in them!

Queen? Judge Parker?

Put down the bong and back away -- slowly. Well, put the bong down *quickly*. The slowly was for the backing away part. Actually you could do them *both* slowly, as long as you get started on the bong-putting-down right away. See, the important thing is that you stop ingesting any more of--oh, forget it.

Those were an unauthorized biography of Queen in comic book form, part of a biography series called Rock And Roll Comics that ran for about 50 issues or so in the late '80's to early '90's. I don't know how accurate they are, but the Queen issues and others are fun to read anyway. The series was published by a couple of guys based in San Diego. They also published Carnal Comics, biographies of porn actresses.
