Breakthru - energetic, fun, one of the few examples when 80's music worked.

These Are Days of Our Lives - come on, you've seen it I don't need to tell you why it's great!

The Great Pretender (ok it's only Freddie, shoot me!)

I'm very fond of Brian's "Resurrection" video. It's a marvellous song, very good... but the video is TERRIBLE! I think they must have faked his signature to get that one made.

Innuendo video, though I haven't seen it in ages it's animation style was marvellous.

In My Defence - the only good Doro Compilation video, because it uses outtakes and finishes with "I Still Love You".

----

If you want to throw away an hour of your life or so, go watch the Made in Heaven films. Put plainly, they're *terrible*. It's my opinion that they should just use Gollum-style technology to animate Freddie a new one. :D

I pretty much like all the ones from the 70's. I still think performance style videos are the best. No silly concepts that usually have nothing to do with the song, just the band doing what they do onstage.

Beyond that, I always liked I Want To Break Free. I've heard it said that video was one of the things that killed their audience in the US, but I don't get it. I don't see how anyone could NOT laugh when Freddie comes on camera at the beginning, in that silly outfit.

And One Vision is pretty cool too, at least, the version that was released in Europe was. Because the song was used in an awful movie called Iron Eagle at the time of it's release, the American version of the video has clips from the movie cut into it, which is why it wasn't until years later I figured out where that shot of them emulating the Queen II cover was from. Always loved that shot of John and Roger looking at each other, as if they've just awakened from suspended animation or something.

But the BEST video, was probably Save Me. Beautiful animation, and I love that shot of the dove transforming into Freddie at the end of the second verse.

SAVE ME! Thanks for reminding me. Beautiful video.

And in One Vision, I'm sorry they just look like they're going to start kissing.

The Great Pretender. Kinda by only Freddie, but I like how he appears in all of the old videos. The part in drag is a bit creepy but silly.

Slightly Mad is brilliant, it could've been taken right out of the 70's. The band are just so comical.

For me, it's gotta be:

Breakthru (they all look so happy and having a great time. Song is really uplifiting and inspiring)

Princes of the Universe (Freddie looks amazing here! Fantastic video)

Days of our lives (I cried the first time I saw this, and it gets me everytime I see it. Especially Freddie's "I love you" at the end.)

Slightly Mad (Very very funny! Gotta see it if you haven't!)

I want to break free (Roger looks like Baby Spice and Freddie looks like my mother! Uncanny!) ;-)
